Garry & Lee at XR&D sent us their best wishes as we left for Glastonbury along with these pictures. Here you can see the bearers, which are the boat equivelant of joists, being welded to the base plate by our main man Abdul. Laying on the floor are a couple of side sheets. The 90° bend will be the gunwale, while the other bend (circa 45°) will run along the bottom of the boat - creating a multi-chined hull.

First Fires
The day before travelling to Glastonbury, we took the long drive up the A1 to visit our boat builders, XR&D in Nottinghamshire. They had the steel base plate down and a part of the stern formed, at this point I don't know what this curved shape is called but it can be seen in the picture below.
